Based on auction records, the keys were still with the vehicle when it reached the facility.
Damage Assessment
The salvage pool records show the vehicle has extensive Left Rear damage. It's an R&D unit, starts up and moves on its own. When a car gets rear-ended, the energy goes straight into the trunk pan and the rear frame crossmembers.
